През 2009 се оформят едни 30 години, през които Naish e част от уиндсърф индустрията. Почти сигурно е, че и баба ви знае кой е Robby Naish, затова тук няма да се връщаме назад в историята на фирмата и великият състезател, а ще представим само последните новини подобаващи за един 30 рожден ден.
Първо легендарният Dave Kalama, вече е един от шейпърите на новите бордове в Naish Interantional. Dave Kalama е емблематичен уиндсърф състезател и шампион, сърфист и може би най-известен като радикален Jaws райдър. Най-ценното в Dave Kalama, е че на дизайнерската маса, той има същия подход и философия както в големите води.
Важен факт около уиндсърф производството е и подхода и отношението на една компания към екологията. Помислете си за тоновете транспортни опаковки, които се изхвърлят веднага след разопаковането на една дъска. За да се избегне изхвълянето на десетки тонове пластични отпадъци – всички Naish бордове 2009 пристигат в комплект с индивидуален борд бег. Практично нали
За качеството на новата линия уиндсърф дъски – може да се каже следното – то се запазва константно при всичките 7 вида включени в нея. Не е изненадващо, че има 4 модела подходящи за вълни – радикална уейварка, евроуейв дъска, all terrain и даже фристайл уейв. Разбира се има про- слаломна дъска и 2 модела предназначени за фрирайд. 3 модела дъски са разрабтени специално за деца – това са вариантите на All Terrain – Junior, Wave – Junior и учебната Kailua Junior. Продуктовата линия на платната включва 13 модела. Оптимизрани версии на тестовите лидери Force, Boxer, Session, All terrain, няколко модела фрирайд платна и специализираните рейсови Redline и Stealth. Новите продукти 2009 година може да намерите в Naish Bulgaria . От тази година вносителите предлагат уейв и фрирайд гикове Naish, както и RDM Naish мачти 100% карбон.

Marcilio Browne хвърли в смут всички като смени спонсора както на платната, така и на бордовете – вместо Gaastra и Mistral, ‘Brawzinho’ ще кара Fanatic и North Sails.

Какво мислиш за това, че ще си в един тим с Gollito Estredo и Victor Fernandez?
MB: Мисля, че e супер, винаги ги търся с поглед, когато караме заедно, и двамата са ми добри приятели и двамата разцепават здраво. Това ще добър шанс да се развивам.

Levi Siver вече пробва новите платна в компанията на своя приятел и съoтборник Keith Teboul. Маккара да няма официално изявление от нито една от страните – явно е Levi ще кара Goya. Levi Siver e един т най-интересните и забележителните райдъри на съвремието, той е експериментатор и авантюрист.  Levi е истински “soul rider”, може да обиколи половината свят за да кара на Jows няколко дни. Levi Siver се хврли във филмопроизводството като продуцент, актьор и като … себе си. Levi e продуцент на  уникалния филм “The Windsurfing Movie” 2007. Като актьот уаства във филма “The Titans of Windsurfing” и играе себе си във филма “Greenie”. За радост на всички фенове, в ход е заснемането и на втора част на “The Windsurfing Movie” .

От този сезон Peter Volwater ще кара с MauiSails. Договрът на холандецът с North Sails изтече в края на 2008. Към MauiSails се завърна и Taty Frans, който през последната година караше също с North Sails. Договор с базираната на Хаваите компания подписа и Gozalo Costa, който до този момент караше с NeilPryde.

Karin Jaggi и F2.

F2 е създадена през 1981, в настоящия момент част от MAG AG, Австрия.

Дали след официално обявения фалит на F2 през април тази година, за марката предстои нов живот?

През пролетта новината шокира мнозина и доста райдъри потърсиха по-сигурно бъдеще при други марки. За разлика от тях през юли 2008 Karin Jaggi отвори нова страница в професионалното си развитие и оглави маркетинга на фалиралата компания. Освен носителка на световните титли във всякакви уиндсърф дисциплини Karin Jaggi е дипломиран икономист. Днес заедно с Patrick Diethelm, Daniel Aeberli и Philipp Schnerr тя решава бъдещето марката. Ето виждането на Karin след няколко месеца на горещия стол.

От следващия сезон Danny Bruch (E-181) ще кара с нови платна и дъски. Той ще се присъедини към тима на френския прозводител на дъски Exocet и Австралийските Severne Sails.

Antoine Albeau също потвърди че сменя спонсора си. От 01.февруари най-бързият на планетата ще се присъедини към тима на JP. Настоящият спонсор много искаше да задържи своя шампион, но Albeau препочете промяната. “Това е една наистина голяма стъпка за мен, но аз съм щаслив, че я направих. Радвам се, че ще съм част от тима на JP и ще работя с Werner Gnigler и наистина нямам търпение да започна.”

В привидно спокойния период след края сезона се случват редица събития, които оформят основните щрихи в картината на следващия сезон. Започнаха трансферите на състезатели – най-големите промени са в тима на North Sails, които официално се разделиха с Bjorn Dunkerbeck, Peter Volwater, и Taty Frans. “За съжаление няма да подновим договорите на тези състезатели. Те бяха много значими като част международния екип на North Sails и им пожелаваме успех в бъдещето им на професионални уиндсърф състезатели.”

От тримата единствено за Dunkerbeck се знае, че ще кара със Severne. От новата марка на Dunkerbeck са особено ентусиазирани да работят с една “жива уиндсърф легенда”. В сътрудничеството си с Dunkerbeck виждат възможност за подобряване на рейсовите им платна.

В тима на North Sails отива Victor Fernandez. С него, сестрите Moreno, Golito Estredo и Andre Paskowski North сформират един наистина забележителен отбор с топ уиндсърфисти в дисциплините уейв и фристайл. След 9 години със Simmer Sails, уейв- победителят от Sylt и Gran Canaria – Victor Fernandez се разделя с думите: “Бих искал да блaгодаря на екипа на Simmer за изтеклите 9 години “на борд”. Simmer бяха първият ми международен спонсор от както започнах да карам в уейв шампионата на PWA. Те наистина ме подкрепяха много и ми помогнаха да се развия като уейв състезател. Exocet as a brand actually materialized in several stages. It all started out of a small workshop in the late 80’s with Patrice Belbeoch and Thierry Pen producing a few custom boards named Magic’s. The boards were then shaped by Alain Riouallec and laminated by Olivier Chretien, Olivier also had excellent shaping skills, and replaced Alain shortly after. Olivier suggested the name Exocet for the boards as he had done a few in his garage under that name.

Exocet is offering a versatile range of 42 boards for the 06 season, and the head office is now re-directing the boards all over the world with a very competent team. The aim is to serve the market at all levels with only the best and most reliable products, and today Exocet has a network of 50 retailers in France, and more than 30 distributors worldwide.

Starboard was founded in 1994 by Svein Rasmussen, a well known racer that entered his first Windsurfer board in 1978. Svein won the Mistral Worlds in 1983, was a Gold medal candidate for the 84 Olympics and spent 10 years on the PWA pro- circuit. He also was the first sailor to win all disciplines in the IFCA Production Board Class Worlds, which he won in 1991. In 1994/95 Starboard developed the unique Wood Technology in co-operation with Jean Louis Colmas from New Caledonia, and were able to produce significantly lighter and stronger boards than any other producers.
