Over 40 competitors gathered from July 1 to 4 on the Turkish island of the third edition Gyokcheada Crazy Island Open. For 2010 this is the first Bulgarian race held as a kite and windsurf. This time the Bulgarian participation unless there was a strong presence in Turkey, including kite champion of Turkey Sedat Chilenk. Chief Justice of Crazy Island had tom Hartmann (Austria), Chief Justice of EFPT (European Freestyle Pro Tour) and athlete from the team of the legendary Robbie Nash. Crazy Island Open is part of the Naish Goes East to promote these sports in Eastern Europe.

Here's a short what happened in four days. After a day of registration on July 2, conditions were suitable for kite trip. 12 athletes participated in track about 3 km, with 15 note wind (25 mph). This was the best Chilenk Sedat (Turkey), the second was last year's winner Krassimir Kartalov - Heiko (Bulgaria) and third Zhecho Mavrodinov. The same day the wind was in the country and start uindsarfistite and had wind surfing and slalom. Of the 18 fastest competitor were Kaykamdzhozov Emil (BUL number 4) and Deyan Todorov Tsvetomir Gospodinov.
For the first time the race was a special race for kids. After
